This stylized, dimensional diamond reflects Jerusalem’s identity in its angular frames. The transparency of this logo ensures that no view is obstructed so it offers focus without forcing any perspective.

ACCESSIBILITY

A wide range of information about religious and archaeological sites, museums, night life and shopping hot spots, as well as food/restaurant recommendations are available in English, Hebrew and Arabic. When accessing sites, left navigation brings up archival information and right navigation describes the location today.

With augmented reality on the iPad, one can explore the landscape and learn about the environment at the scene.

JERUSALEM

Every image I saw of Jerusalem reflected a prejudicial point of view. After exploring many adaptions, I realized that it was impossible to portray multifaceted Jerusalem in one image. This frame is developed from my logo. The uneven angles of this thin white outline infer that Jerusalem does not fit into a predictably dimensional box. The tagline, Uncover, tells the viewer to keep searching to find the many points of view in this aged-old city.

ENVIRONMENT

Building identity through physical applications in the environment brings this brand to life. An augmented reality phone application makes it easy to learn about any point of interest and its historical significance — from architecture to geography to food. Focus on any subject and information about it will appear on the screen. Uneven, white partitions frame space in the tourism office emphasizing the brand statement initiated in the logo. The interior view changes as light enters from different angles.
